About

Tany Rodas

Understand the human variable before turning it into a conclusion.

My work starts from a simple idea: in a complex conflict, facts matter, but so does understanding the people who recount them, interpret them and make decisions about them.

Tany Rodas, Behavioral Intelligence Consultant

I have spent years studying different disciplines related to human behavior, the forensic field, testimony, criminology and conflict. That training is complemented by a professional background developed in environments where confidentiality, negotiation, people management and decision-making under pressure have been constant.

That combination is the foundation of how I work through THV Advisory — The Human Variable.

I do not replace legal, psychological, medical or expert judgment. My role is different: to add a layer of analysis focused on the human variable that helps professionals observe more carefully, formulate better questions and identify aspects that deserve deeper examination.

Experience and judgment

Experience and judgment

Throughout my professional career I have worked with highly confidential information, ultra-high-net-worth clients and situations involving competing interests, pressure, conflict, negotiation and decisions with real consequences.

That experience has taught me something fundamental for my current work: people cannot be interpreted through simple formulas.

An isolated gesture does not prove deception. A contradiction does not by itself establish lack of credibility. Context matters.

My approach therefore does not seek to label people or manufacture artificial certainty. It seeks to organize information, identify relevant elements, detect inconsistencies or areas requiring further attention, and formulate hypotheses that can be tested against the available evidence.

How I work

Observe. Contextualize. Test.

01

I work from an essential methodological premise: separate observation from interpretation.

02

First, I identify what can be observed or documented.

03

Then I examine the context in which it occurs.

04

Only then do I consider possible explanations, avoiding the conversion of isolated indicators into conclusions.

This discipline is particularly important when analyzing statements, extensive documentation, interviews, questioning or situations involving multiple people and competing versions of events.

The objective is not to decide who is telling the truth.

The objective is to help formulate better questions.

THV Advisory

THV Advisory

I created THV Advisory — The Human Variable to turn multidisciplinary knowledge into a useful tool for professionals making complex decisions.

Especially for lawyers and legal teams who may understand the law perfectly yet face a different dimension of the matter: the person who testifies, accuses, denies, remembers, omits, negotiates or makes a decision.

That is where my work begins.
